Revealing Thieves Guild Armour - SAM Refit

If you're getting a textureless vanilla armour that would suggest that there's another issue here - this mod is purely a mesh replacer. The only suggestion I would have had would be downloading the original mod on the off chance the textures there (alpha changes) were required - which you already did. Sorry I don't know how to fix this one other than ensuring it loads *after* the original mod if you have both. -

View File Guards Armour Replacer - SAM Full Refit [LE] This is a Legacy Edition SAM refit of NordwarUA's Guards Armor Replacer. You WILL need to install the original mod for this to work - then install my mesh refits over the top - all I've done is refit the meshes for SAM and package them up. This replacer assumes you're using the full Guards Armour Replacer mod, which requires all DLC and USLEEP. Unlike a lot of other mods, this isn't designed for the player, although you can certainly get and wear the various armours. What the original mod does is give all the guards from the various holds of Skyrim unique armour sets, each reflecting the culture and history of the hold. I find it's wonderful for immersion, but unfortunately wasn't compatible with SAM, so... I fixed it. Eventually. Credits to: NordwarUA for the original mod and for permission to convert ElderVerK for advice on refits I am aware there are some minor clipping issues when moving, and some of the light armours are problematic when guards are at larger body sizes - even deleting vertices there's only so much I can do on those ones. There's also a chance you'll find a random naked guy in the great hall at Windhelm. That seems to be an issue with the original mod. Just give the guy some armour using whatever method you prefer--or enjoy the view. Feedback and screenshots welcome - I'm getting better at them, but it's still not my forte. Please feel free to convert to SE if you like. I do not have it and will not be able to convert it myself. [Guide] Refitting for SAM - Shape Atlas for Men
Keldaryth replied to air's topic in The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
Different issue because, yay. I'm doing a refit of Bingle's Buff armours -- or at least the dragonscale and dragonbone ones, and I'm having the following issue with the dragonscale. Just the torso - Everything is conforming properly in Bodyslide and Outfit Studio, but in game it's coming up strange, and the NIF file is also looking strange -- exactly as it shows up in game with the chest shrunk and not really peeking though. If anyone knows why that would happen, I'd love to know so I can fix it. -

Two possibilities - you may need to use a HDT body and use the step that allows for movement - copying bone weights. Alternatively, just make the pants bigger if the above doesn't help or if you've already done it. *** Separate Issue: Does anyone have tips for scaling full body armour? I've made it mostly work when characters are standing, but I'm getting clipping issues with movement - usually around the armholes where SAM runs into issues with the chest area and upper arm areas crossing over where they wouldn't on the default model. Typically I've been pulling the arm section into the inside of the body and the torso section into the arm as trying to actually lower the armpit hasn't been very successful... -

You are so very welcome - I don't have SE and I don't really plan on buying it as I honestly tend to get bored with the shallowness of the content and quit after a while. I'm trying a lot of immersion mods and using it as a 'lite' mucking around game rather than a big RPG and hoping it works better for me this time around.
