Need help on making a custom armor with custom NIFs.

I'm currently making a custom armor from scratch. 

I followed several tutorials to get there, but the gist was

  1. Modelling the mesh in Blender, export to obj
  2. Then, import into Outfit Studio, with SAM Light body as reference. 

The armor works as intended, but the gloves and boots is not visible ingame, despite showing up in Bodyslide/Outfit Studio/Creation Kit/Nifskope. As you can see on the first four screenshots, the armor displays correctly, but the gloves and boots refuse to show up. 

However, if I were to replace the gloves and boots' NIFs with other NIFs (tested with farmer03 gloves and boots; the last screenshot in my attachments), they show up just fine so I believe the problem lies in the NIF. I have no idea what caused it though since I do it the same way I do the armor and the armor is fine.

A few culprits come to mind but my money is on weight sliders

AFAIK you can only see this setting in XEdit at least the older version I prefer to use in Classic

Weight Slider Support will make the entire diff in whether an armature will appear or not. Less common culprits are things like Dismemberment Data pointing to the wrong biped slot, alpha settings in the nif  like some if you set to 255 will make the object invisible, etc When in doubt use the compare option in XEdit with another armature that def appears that uses the same slot/s as the one you are having issues with. and see what isnt matching

yep, @NeutronSphere was correct. The dismemberment slot for gloves and boots was still referring to the body instead of hands and feet respectively. It was such a blonde moment for me 😅

 

Fret not! @Kirax I'll release the armor in its proper, working state ASAP.

Lol no. I meant you should upload the file so I can just take a proper look and fix it for you.

I guess there's no longer the need for that since you solved it already.
