tryin to refit fashion of... outfits

heya i have a little question, if im tryin to refit this outfit https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/75837?tab=description 
would simply changing the body reference and tweaking the meshes in OS is enough?

since there a option for Vanilla body, i dont really need to run bodyslide right?

I'm not sure what you mean about not needing to run Bodyslide? You're wanting to refit to SAM right? You'll need to build it in Bodyslide after making your Outfit Studio changes to export the actual files.

If you haven't done any refits before, there's a guide that's really pretty thorough.

hmm i decided to not using bodyslide because i costumize my body via racemenu skeletons since SAM bodyslide are so few, and also i realize that most SAM outfit i like doesnt have bodyslide file or physics, since im using prince albert piercing.
and i just learned, actually it works without bodyslide, even the physics because i use malebody_0.nif that generated from bbb. Gotta do some few tricks for the legs and butt tho.

If you not using bodyslide you wasting time make refit for sam though. Through bodyslide you need bodyslide to generate new body tri to follow all sam morph. Give hdt to piercing very easy with outfit studio. Literally 5 seconds copy bones and build it with bodyslide. Learning bodyslide just take 10 minutes. This like you saying want to drift a car but you don't want learn cornering. Bodyslide always pair with outfit studio.
