why my email banned

when trrying to sign up i was told my email cannot be used on this site, now I happen to have a backup email but if I didn't I could not have signed up to this site which is just silly.

Anyway my question is why an email @hotmail.co.uk is banned?

Microsoft email domains are currently unavailable to register with due to Microsoft blocking our emails from being delivered to users' mailboxes. Using such an email address resulted in users not being able to receive email messages, including transactional ones used for address verification and password recovery. Thus, it has been decided to temporarily disallow signing up with Microsoft domains until the issue is resolved.
