Prisoner Clothes help

Hi there and great to be here. I was a long time user of SOS but am trying SAM and love the flexibility over body type it allows. I could do with some guidance on how to make certain clothes SAM compatible. I am looking to play as a male character dressed mostly in shirtless prisoner rags: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/4040/?tab=posts&BH=4 

The shirtless version of the link would be perfect but how do i make it SAM compatible so it will show the complete SAM body texture? Can i just use Nifskope or are other tools required? Any guidance would be greatly appreciated as its my first time attempting to modify armour/clothing

Thanks Korger. Well i gave the guide a try but found it too hard to follow. Never mind. If anyone with the skills to mod this clothing for sam sees this and wants to do the work on the prisoner clothes i am happy to make a donation

if you can get the author's permission I'll convert it for you (no donation required) but without permission, there's nothing I can do to help.

alternatively if you explain what is troubling you about the refit procedure maybe I can help. this is actually a very simple refit to do since the mesh doesn't really need any adjustments in bodyslide.

Thanks for the reply lucky and your offer of assistance. I actually don't know where to start even with the guide and the author seems to be no longer active. I have seen this on nexus https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/49555?tab=description which would be perfect as it would allow you to rifle clothes of npcs but leave them with some modesty (or not the choice would be yours) Seems they made it compatible with SOS but not SAM (you have a hole where your 'bits and pieces' should be.  Any ideas on how to refit this for SAM?
