Need help with double-sided textures

Recommended Posts

Hello everyone!

I'm new to Skryim and am completely obsessed with the game. Now I understand why everyone was amazed I had not played it yet. I was such a fool!

I've started tinkering a bit with modding and could use some help. I am using the BodySlide outfit studio to edit the vanilla Imperial light armor nif files.

I was able to shorten the kilt as hoped, but now the kilt is transparent if viewed from the certain angles.

Searches pointed me to nifskope and a BSLightingShaderProperty field, but I don't see the values mentioned.

How can I get the kilt to not appear transparent when viewed from the interior?

Thanks!

Open the .nif in nifskope, and find the NiTriShape of the armor.

Expand it and find the BSLightingShaderProperty.

In the lower window, find the section named Shader Flags 2.

Find "Double Sided" in the list and click the checkbox. Do it for both the _0.nif and _1.nif if it exists.
