SAM + SOS, SAM NO SCHLONG

Ok so, basically I am having the same problem as this person in this thread with the femboy race. 

 

I am absolutely aware that the author of femboy gave intructions for sam and sos to work for the race, I followed the authors intructions, every single step, several times, And ALMOST everything worked fine, my vanilla race characters used sam body as usual, but now there wouldn't be schlongs, my nord character just keeps wearing underwear. the schlongs only worked if using the sos mcm, but in sam it didn't work. and it shouldnt be! I don't know why this is happening. i also followed instructions from other threads in vectorplexus and still nothing.

 

 i dont get whats going on. is this supposed to work this way? i thought i could use full sam normally with vanilla races and the femboy race use sos separetly, i don't want it to conflict with each other. i attempted to make sam esp core so i could put it on top of sos core (since in MO is flagged as a master file, and that way the sam esp could have more priority), and see if it fixed it, but still it hasnt worked. here is my game load order in case it's neccesary. thank u!

I understand these rely on keywords and other tags to recognize and manage your nudity. You probably have a conflict there where  something removed or overwrote a tag that would handle underwear visibility. SoS being near the end there could be your culprit, so try moving it above other nude-oriented mods. If you are familiar with XEdit you can load everything to check out naked skin armatures, and make a custom patch where all the tags you need are at the end

Well I'm actually very quite unexperienced using xEdit, I kinda know how to use Tes5edit (like really basic stuff).

 

Ok so if I undertood right you suggest I put sos above SAM? you mean in the load order? But wouldnt that make it more priority, so it would overhaul sam? Or I am not understanding what youre trying to say

My suspicion that the fact is not working is because of the new version of SAM, since sam was recently updated, maybe something was edited and now sam doesn't work with it. I don't know that's the only thing I can think of.

AFAIK SAM wasn't updated for a while and the recent "update" was a reupload related to an issue of texture packs not being download-able. Also there was a patch by Don for SAM Light to work with SOS, maybe you should try it?

No, SAM Light only. Full version is like too complicated and different from SOS to work with it properly? Most likely cause of all the scripts and stuff used to make it not just a plain body replacer. I'm not a modder/coder/whatever but that's what I think lmao.

Well I just used it and it kinda fixed my problem. I mean it gave me the results I wnated but not in the same way. I'll just have to conform. Thank you anyways.
