    Well, I think that's because of shapes mismatch

    Unfortunately I have no SSE so I can only assume they are not compatible to SSE because SAM for Special Edition is working in other way than the one for Oldrim.

    Do you know anything that i could do to solve this? I've never had this problem before so I have no idea what to do

    Make sure you install the included HDT skeleton for SAM if you're not using XPMSSE.  The game will crash if it can't find the extra bones on the installed skeleton.  SAM's original skeleton doesn't have these bones.

    So I already had XPMSSE installed along with the  HDT parts, but apparently installing your skeleton regardless fixed the issue. Hopefully nothing bad will come from both being installed.

    You can open up the preset in something like Notepad and manually remove the texture override.  Just search for something similar to this:

       "overrides" : [
          {
             "node" : "SAMBody",
             "values" : [
                {
                   "data" : "actors\\\\character\\\\male\\\\MaleBody_3.dds",
                   "index" : 0,
                   "key" : 9,
                   "type" : 2
                },
                {
                   "data" : "actors\\character\\male\\SamsonBody_025_msn.dds",
                   "index" : 1,
                   "key" : 9,
                   "type" : 2
                }
             ]
          }
       ],

    You can either remove the entire overrides section or the individual groups of nodes between the braces.  Try not to break the formatting.  Once that's done, import the preset again.

    Thanks, that seemed to work!

    That's an NiOverride issue when possibly using texture overrides.  The fix is normally to set the consistency flags to CT_MUTABLE in the .nif files, but that's already been done to these meshes.  On a clean game, there shouldn't be any issues.  Are you using it on an old save that had SAM scripts running or did you load a character preset in RaceMenu that was saved from a character with texture overrides?

    I use Racemenu presets as bases, so it must be that. Is there any way to fix it?

    So I'm having an odd issue. When I install this mod, my character's (and only the player character's) body turns purple whenever I load a save. It fixes itself after I equip and unequip anything that covers the body, hands or feet. The same thing happens when I try to edit the body with the SAM Racemenu morph mod.

    Anyone got any advice?
