Some help for this beginner. SAM for SSE

Hi! Recently I discovered this awesome mod named SAM, and tried the light versión on my Skyrim SE, but sadly it's not looking as good as the ones I saw on the forum screenshots topic. 

There is any guide I can use about how to install SAM and all it's armors and extras for Skyrim SE?. I already read the basic guide but it seems it's mostly suited for LE.

I have experience porting meshes and esp's from LE to SE, but it's not working the same way for SAM as (e.g.) any armor mod.
