Miraak Follower Help

Trying to use Savrenx's miraak follower and replacer mod. When I get to Summit of Aprocrypha and the Miraak fight, I'm getting the optional bend will to defeat Miraak objective but when I use bend will several times the alternate scene doesnt play and he continues to attack. Followed all of the instructions as best I understood 

SavrenX Miraak replacer requires Miraak Follower Dialogue Overhaul requires Miraak Dragonborn follower SE.

Downloaded both of those, as the instructions on the dialogue mod
starting with Miraak Dragonborn Follower SE
Overwrote that mod with the Dialogue Overhaul files
Deleted the esps and replaced with SavrenX esps and facegen files, keeping all other files 

Cant find anyone else having this issue though so I'm sure it must be something i have incorrect. Tried to look through xEdit but I'm not very familiar with quest related issues but this is what it said
