Custom Follower Body Proportions

OK, I never did this and have a very vague idea of how that works, but still... If I want to make a custom follower, with not just SAM body, but also with specific proportions of it - How do I make them? Do I just need to build the body in bodyslide of something? And how exactly would that work?

Using spell SAM Target to follower will give you freedom to adjust follower proportion in game. If you use bodyslide, you have to refit the cloth for that body too. Not efficient.
