"Super-duper" update. -Clearer texture. -A better body relief. -Nipples :D. -Almost overhaul. -Now there is support for chameleon textures !!! (RaptorFS not included) Notice! (This revised version of the mod that was posted here. http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/76427/? . I asked permission of the person who made these textures for Sam. But when I finished and put them into his Message. He just disappeared (on the nexus mod has not been updated). So I decided to post it here.) Special thanks to the Fiszi . For the first adaptation of the original textures under the mod SAM. And Kraan for nipple textures.

Description To say that this is a retexture isn't entirely true. It uses the textures that are already included in the base download (made by SinglesCat). However, those were never really destined for the SAM body shape, so there were several inconsistencies when you used it. I originally did some edits and uploaded them to the Hall of Torque, but they no longer host mods; I was in the process of doing some edits for myself so I decided to upload a newer package here. Generally the edits are subtle, but hopefully noticeable, mostly fixing seams and so on. Bear in mind I'm not a texture artist, so the work isn't going to be 100% perfect, but I hope it's acceptable. What's Included I included facial textures, but I didn't edit them. I included them only because they are no longer available on SC - Khajiit Improvement, and the body textures simply won't match with anything otherwise. I tweaked the smooth and striped diffuse textures to remove some seams along the inner leg. There's some lighter color sections that didn't match up, I did some cloning to close that seam a bit. This was more noticeable on the smooth texture, so that's where I focused the work. I also added shading for a belly button and nipples. SAM's body mesh has them modeled in, so I figured I would add them. The belly button is just simple shading I did, but the nipples are from the Lykaios Race by KrittaKitty. I also added toe nails that were used from the hand mesh, personally I use a set of toe claws I modified so I don't even notice it anyways. I copied over the pink toned flesh that ShinglesCat put on the palms and soles in her newer version of her textures, and put them in here. Vector's original genital texture was meant to match up with Bethesda's, creating a seam, now it should be mitigated. With certain ENBs the specular lighting on the hands and feet were too high, and as a result created a seam. I reduced the specular lighting here to reduce some seams. The same is true sides of the body, and the hip/groin region. I heavily edited the normal maps so that now when your character's weight is at 0, or you have high values of samuel, there's less muscle definition. This is most noticeable in the chest region but I smoothed out everywhere else as well. For higher weights I added abdominal definition, and more definition in the pecs, they should appear a bit more smooth now than before. The abs aren't quite as defined as some of the mods I have seen here, but I was going more for a look that was in line with the Vector's textures. Finally, I swapped some of the channels for the normal maps on the tail. This was present even in the vanilla game. Basically light hitting the tail from above would be treated as if it was being cast from the front, and vice versa. This was most noticeable in front of something like a fire, or outside, where your back would be bright and the tail would be dark, or vice versa. The tail should match the body now. I included a before and after picture if this doesn't make sense. Credits ShinglesCat for the original textures, whose work is most predominantly featured here VectorPlexus for SAM KrittaKitty for LykaiosRace, whose texture assets I used slightly mrLenski for CoverKhajiits Bethesda for Skyrim

This is a SAM refit patch (Samson/ Samuel sliders from 0 to ca. 80) file for recently released Chainmail Armor (Link to Nexus for LE/ SE) by NordwarUA. The shape of the armor itself is highly versatile (especially without the helm), and the full set of the armor looks like the high medieval European one in the real world. This package itself is not stand-alone (i.e. does not include any female or inventory models), so you have to download (and please endorse) the original package from Nexus at first, then overwrite some of the male armor meshes with those from this refit package. The armor can be forged at any anvil/ forge with some steel ingots and so on. All the credit should be given to NordwarUA who is the original creator of this wonderful armor mod.
  5. View File Vitruvia - (Crude) SAM Light Adaptation (LE/ SE) NB: I originally prepared this package for texture swapping function of SAM Morphs for Racemenu. So, the face (racial) normal maps are not included in this package itself. If you need Vitruvia's face normal map, please download (and endorse) the original package from Nexus. Vitruvia - Skin texture overhaul for males by Mandragorasprouts (for LE/ for SE) has several point to note, though it's compatible neither with SAM nor with SAM Light. 4K detailed face/ body diffuse (skin) texture (Normal maps are 2K, though) One of the least chiselled muscles among many male mods SoS support and AFAIK the most well-done way of hiding the seam between the body and the genital NiTriShape part in the Crotch Area. Almost complete (rough2 is missing) set of new complexion of male face. Scarred skin as well as normal maps. Its skin texture is not 100% (complete seam-free) compatible with other-vanilla like skins texures, but very versatile and can be used togeter with other vanilla-friendly skin re-textures like Skysight Skins, at least in my very bad eyes (see also one of SSs posted). In course of updating my other (crude) SAM Light adaptation package, Skysight Skins for SAM Light (w/ elder race normal), I found that the author was no longer active in mod making but she/he gave a permission to use his files as assets as long as with due credit. So, With Vitruvia I updated SAM light adaptation of Skysight Skins first. Then, I also prepared this package in order to use together with Skysight Skins for SAM Light ('s face texture). What is included in this package: Skin (Diffuse Maps): Face (4K DXT1 compressed), Body (4K DXT1 compressed: adapted from hairy version, made compatible with SAM High Poly Conversion's Toenails), Hands (1K DXT1 compressed, made compatible with SAM High Poly Conversion's Fingernails) Normal Maps: Body (2K uncompressed for LE; BC7 compressed for SE: in fact, combining mainly Vitruvia original in the upper and SAM Light Texture Add-on in the lower body), Hands (2K uncompressed for LE; BC7 compressed for SE). Both are compatible with SAM High Poly Conversion. Face normal is not included (even for the Nords). Specular Maps: Same as Skysight Skins for SAM (2K/ 1K DXT1 compressed: Wet Skins based on CMO: Complete Male Overhaul by Mok Chaoticran Subsurface Maps: due to my laziness, only black dots one (for LE non-ENB user) is included. If you don't like it, just delete them. Face Complexions: a little tweaked from original. 1K Uncompressed. Bonus: Scarred Body Skin/ Normal Maps. I include them in 'malebody_01.dds/ malebody_01_msn.dds'. You can assign these scarred textures to your PC's body from SAM textures menu with SAM Morphs for Racemenu. All the credits & endorsement should be given to the original authors (please also visit their original download site and endorse the original), not me. Also sorry for my shitty SSs and clumsy English. DESCRIPTION Made just for fun (for those who'd tell something about skimpiness). It's fully compatible with HDT bodies and it supports body scaling. Can be crafted in "Glass" section.
  7. Version 2.1.0

    5,154 downloads

Release Note for v 2.0.0+: Now this package is stand-alone, i.e. does no longer require the torso refit from Afendor's Dragonborn DLC Armor Refit for SAM, and is compatible with the latest Racemenu SE (0.2.4+) / SKSE64 as well. I just wonder no one seems to have paid any attention to the fact that Afendor's Dragonborn DLC Armor refit for SAM only includes the torso/ cuirass part of the armors and the clothes from this DLC. In other words, all the gloves, boots as well as 1st person meshes from that DLC has ever been left untouched. So, I've made this hot fix collection as a stopgap, until anyone skillful will make a more decent conversions. The basic premise of this WIP package is as the same as my previous one, Crude Hot Fixes of Vanilla Cloth Refits for Citizens and Mages, but now also with armors. This was a very hasty work originally for my personal use, so I would appreciate if you report any problems concerning on these refits. Never touched by mine in v 2.0+ as well as in the future: Armor: General Carius (non-playable) Clothing: Miraak (attached too many 'unknown (at least to me)' data in the mesh) Credits: Bethesda: for Original Mesh Files Vector: for SAM Permissions: Do what do you would like to (preferably with credit).

This is a stand-alone refit package for SAM as well as my 3rd (1st: (Very) Crude Hot Fixes of Vanilla Cloth Refits for Citizens and Mages; 2nd: (Very) Crude Hot Fixes of DLC Dragonborn Armors & Clothes) contributions of compilation package of very crude vanilla/ DLC outfit refits, consisting of all the outfit meshes (armors as well as clothes) in DLC DG like Dawnguard and Vampire armors. 'Stand-Alone' means that this package does not require Afendor's Dawnguard DLC refits for SAM to function. The package is provided both for LE and SE optimized versions: The latter is compatible with the latest build of Racemenu SE (0.2.4+)/ SKSE64 without any manual conversion. Known Issues in the initial release package (-> Fixed in v 1.1.0. Sorry for inconvenience): I don't have much time to check the refit for now (so they'll be dealt later), but I have found at least three possible (mainly visual) glitches in the short-term test. The back side of dark boots (in clothes\vampclothes\vampboots_0 (1).nif) is messed up. Invisible part around the heel of the falmer heavy boots: possible partition problem? I'll look into this issue later in the end of this year, I hope. Armpit part of snowelf armors/ red-light armor variant of Dawnguard armor certainly has room to improve. 9. Version 2.2

    11,251 downloads

Release Note for v 2.1a+ : Now this package does no longer requires the default vanilla Skyrim refit (in SAM's Download file section) for some torso refits. Together with rhavik's SAM - Vanilla Armor Refit (LE/ SE), my three refit packages (with the optional Briarheart conversion) should now cover the entire vanilla armor/ clothes refit, and should be compatible also with the latest Racemenu SE as well as SKSE64 without any manual conversion. [Note for v 2.1a's optional package]: Thanks for the bug report from @Alarik, i've learned that the talented Briarheart SAM conversion by @Jamesalexian unfortunately works only with USLEEP that fundamentally alters the handling of the Briarheart naked skin, only in Skyrim LE as well. He also helped me with the repeated experiments of the tweaked meshes especially in Skyrim SE. What I did to the original conversion is only three minor tweaks: cleans the additinal extra skeleton nodes up, making the meshes compatible with SAM default skeleton as well. builds the briarheart meshes for non-USLEEP (USSEP) users converts LE meshes to SE (and arranged directory structure in accordance with USSEP). So, please choose the correct one for your Skyrim (LE/ SE, with USLEEP (USSEP) or without USLEEP (USSEP)) among four download options, and if you like it, please take a visit at @Jamesalexian's original download page and endorse it! +++ Some clippings in the backside especially while crouching, but No neck seam anymore. The hugh drawbacks of SAM for mine has been the lack of the full compatible vanilla CLOTHES (not armors) for long, even with the default vanilla outfit refits in SAM's download section. Once we go into the settlement and talk with some (male) vendors, we cannot but notice the neck seam of the blacksmith as well as magically slim cloth hiding the pot belly of the middle age trader soon. College professors (at least in my poor laptop) tend to accompany some floating bodies with their robes. I cannot put up with them anymore. This package is meant as a temporal hotfix for this matter until anyone more skillful will work with this problem: I cannot claim the quality of the meshes even as mediocore (just a quick and dirty conforming work by Outfitstudio), but at least they are compatible with SAM's Samson and Samson sliders (from ca. -20 to +80) and no noticeable visual glitch like the neck seam, I hope. Although I only play Skyrim in LE, I also prepared the SE package by SSE NIF optimizer (not tested in the game by myself). If you find any problem for this package, please also notice to me. How to use: Overwrite the default vanilla outfits with the meshes from this package. v 1.1.0+: Updated as well as the earlier meshes are all included in the latest package. Overwrite the default mesh with them, too. (You don't have to download all the versions I've uploaded. Only the latest one will suffice). What is currently NOT covered (v 2.2): Sheogorath (not obtainable in the vanilla game) Nocturnal; Psijic (not obtainable in the vanilla game/ boots is not weight slider-supported, if I remember correctly) Except for these few exceptions, now all the vanilla [Clothing] equipments can be compatible with SAM (complements each other with rhavik's Vanilla Armors). To be Done: To deal with the imminent bugs (and bad clipping) within this package. To restore InvMarker in the worked meshes, though I don't know their significance for the mesh (only something with inventory model)/ Credits (in addition to Vector and Bethesda): USLEEP team: for updated meshes for some clothes like Magejourneyman and Barkeepers jorrob96 for his tutorial for refitting: Forum on the importance of set 'CT_Mutable' flag: /u/Hump_my_face at /r/skyrimmods/: for checking and fixing the problematic wristguard mesh to be handled with OS. @Jamesalexian for the original SAM converted mesh of Briarheart naked skin. @Alarik for the bug reports of the Briarheart skin as well as tester of updated Briarheart skin both in LE and in SE. Permissions: Do what do you would like to (preferably with credit).
  10. Disclaimer: Screenshot included solely for reference, and I do NOT claim any ownership of the image. So, I was wondering if this is possible. To create a SAM-compatible armor mod that supports the many styles of the Roman Gladiators (think of the Spartacus series). A few thoughts I had on how to go about this: - the harnesses can be different styles (i.e. bulldog, X, etc.), or incorporate all of them and make each style of harness and respective material individually craftable. - arm, leg, and head equipment pieces can be left as they are, if so desired - the loincloth could be traditional brief-like or along the lines of the Forsworn Loincloth Refit and Barbarian Loincloths (who doesn't like freeballin). As a personal touch, methinks in the case of loincloths that they be just enough to cover the genitals, showing the v-taper and the legs. - themed material usage w/ appropriate material requirements (leather, glass, ebony, dragonscale, etc.) - crafting perk requirements (seems odd to make a dragonplate gladiator set with a low level in Smithing) Sadly, I have neither the coding skill nor the artistic talent to really put this into realization (I wish I did), but I can conceptualize. What do you guys think? Would it be doable?
