Original description by Vector: SAM Shape Atlas for Men by VectorPlexus Available exclusively at https://www.vectorplexus.com Please read and adhere to SAM's EULA. Please do not distribute SAM or its assets in total or in part on any other website than https://vectorplexus.com Introduction What is SAM? SAM is a male body replacer mod for Skyrim (32-bit version) and is meant to replace SOS (Schlongs of Skyrim). It introduces a wide variety of body forms that can be assigned directly or randomly to male characters in Skyrim. This is achieved by introducing three basic body types: "Normal" - Similar to the vanilla body. Ranges from skinny to, well, normal. "Samson" - Muscular, top heavy body form. Wide shoulders, small hips. Adds muscle definition to the body. "Samuel" - Fat, almost pear-shaped body form. Narrow shoulders, wide hips. Adds softness to the body. To create a nearly unlimited amount of body shapes, the Samson and/or Samuel morphs are "injected" into the normal body on a scale from 0 to 100. Furthermore, SAM adds male genitals, also lovingly called schlongs, that can be morphed, scaled and toggled on and off in-game, 5 different degrees of body hair, Beast Character support, Werewolf support and 13 poses. Items that have not been refitted will lead to visual issues when equipped. INCOMPATIBILITIES Schlongs of Skyrim (SOS) Armors and clothes created for SOS Latest version of Racemenu (unless SAM's skeleton is overwritten by XPMSE, see above) HOW TO USE To get the most out of SAM, you are encouraged to adjust SAM's settings in its MCM to your liking. Available settings in MCM: GENERAL SETTINGS Most of the options here alter the way SAM assigns values to NPCs. Enable Automatic Race Settings: If enabled, SAM will morph NPCs according to their race. Adjust race offsets in the "Races" tab. Class morph offsets: If enabled, SAM will also morph NPCs to fit their assigned class (muscular warriors, thin mages, etc.) Weight Cap: If enabled, the Samuel and Samson values cannot exceed the overall weight of the NPC. For example, if an NPC has the weight 37, the Samuel and Samson values can only add up to 37. If disabled, this rule no longer applies. Variaton Range: The higher the value, the more varied and extreme the randomly assigned body morphs become. Enable schlongs: If enabled, all male characters will have genitals. If disabled, schlongs will be replaced by black underwear. Overrides: this button resets textures applied to all characters. For trouble-shooting purposes only. Export/Import settings: all your settings can be saved and loaded via these buttons. Very useful if you start new games often. SCALING Body Options Most of these options are fairly self-explanatory. However, the schlong options won't be present if schlongs are disabled in the general tab. NPC body scaling and NPC Schlong scaling are toggled off by default to save system resources. Enabling them means that the engine will assign moprhs to all male characters that get loaded into the game. This can stress the engine considerably as NPCs are loaded and unloaded more or less all the time. The Scale multiplier affects all male NPCs. It is set to a believable value by default. Proportion Settings Here, you can adjust the proportion of the Samson and Samuel moprhs to your liking. The "Original Values" buttons reset your inputs in this menu. ACTORS In this menu, you can assign Samuel and Samson values as well as schlong options to your character and currently loaded male NPCs around you. Actor: Choose which currently loaded male actor you want to alter. Default is your character. Overrides: Same button as the one under the general tab. Body Options Here, the values SAM applied to the character that you chose in the Actor field are shown and can be adjusted to your liking. Weight: Vanilla weight slider. Makes the character broader or slimmer. Not available for NPCs. Height: Vanilla height slider. Use carefully as even small changes can have big impacts. Samson / Samuel sliders: Choose how much of each body morph should be injected. Max combined value is either 100 or the character's weight, depending on settings in the general tab. Texture: choose between up to 5 texture sets. By default, these contain different degrees of hairyness for human and elf races, from smooth to Furball. Khajiits have two texture options (smooth and stripes), Argonians only have one default option. Body hair is black by default, which cannot be altered without reworking the textures directly. Schlong Options Schlong Size: Alters the schlong's size, primarily its length. Schlong Taper: Makes the tip of the schlong narrower. 0= evenly wide, 100 = strongly tapered towards the tip. High values also shorten the schlong noticeably. Testicle Size: slider from -50 to +50, default is 0. Cut: Toggle foreskin on and off. RACES This menu lets you predetermine the values assigned to different races. Most options work exactly like the options in the Actor tab, so only the ones behaving differently will be discussed here. Race: choose which race you want to alter. Texture Lock: Make all characters of the chosen race have the chosen texture. If unticked, variations can occur. Cut: In this tab, the cut option is a slider rather than a toggle on/off button. Sets the probability of characters of the chosen race being cut or uncut. 0= everyone is uncut, 100 = everyone is cut. Werewolf This tab only works as intended if you have Moonlight Tales Essentials as well as the Moonlight Tales Essentials Patch installed. Options are fairly self-explanatory. Schlong options carry over from the Actor tab. SAM Poses and SOS console commands SAM contains 13 poses for your pleasure. FNIS is required to play them in-game. Important note: when running the FNIS tool, make sure to toggle the "Skeleton Arm Fix" option ON. To play the poses, open the console in-game and use one of the following commands: player.SAE SAMPose XX SAE SAMPose xx The first version plays the pose for the player character, the second version plays the pose for the character selected in the console (left click on them while the console is open). Replace XX with a value from 01 to 13 to play the according pose. Alternatively, you can use mods such as Poser Hotkeys to access poses, be it from SAM or other poser mods. Also, some console commands carry over from SOS (Schlongs of Skyrim). These include: SAE SOSFlaccid //turn schlong flaccid SAE SOSFastErect //get erection quickly SAE SOSErect //get erection gradually SAE SOSBendXX //replace xx with value from -9 to 9 to adjust erection angle, default=0 Again, add player. before the command to target the player character. 2. Because LadyMoiraine has violated the EULA, I'm changing it as of today, and Hall of Torque will no longer have publishing rights to any of my work and/or any derivative from it. From now on, any SAM mod that edits anything based from SAM - Shape Atlas for Men, will have to be hosted here, and nowhere else. SAM - Shape Atlas for Men, will just have the generic EULA I'm using for all my other mods. The EULA was very clear, this granted her the rights of publishing: and this is where it stated that only me can give permissions to edit any of my work: Because she was granting people permissions to edit/modify my work, I'm revoking her any permissions to hosting SAM mods that in some way or another, are using content created by me. One of the reasons I implemented an EULA, was to help to prevent any issue, and any misunderstanding about rights and permissions. I have done it, while also consulting her in the proccess, so there is no excuse for this blatant violation and disrespect over someone else's work. Here's the e-mail exchange I had with her, regarding the EULA, please note that I asked her for feedback, and when I sent her the final version, I mentioned what was changed (mainly relevant for permissions). There is really no excuse for her actions, and I'm done with all of this. EDIT: I "censored" the e-mail parts that contained only personal and/or private matters, in which my health is also discussed, they do not relate in anyway to something I have said regarding granting her rights to give permissions.
  3. Thanks for the heads up, for some reason, the field was disabled (I suspect it may have been due to some upgrade), but I already enabled it again. Also, the Steam profile is not in anyway neccessary, its optional, and it only will entitle people to get eligible for being on the games raffle that I will throw every now and then (usually it will be every 6 months, during Steam sales). Once registered, you will not have access to edit that information, in order to avoid people from exploiting it, as someone could just create a new/fake profile. If you do want to be able to have a steam profile associated to your user, just send me a PM with your profile's URL, and I'll just add it manually =)

I must check all that, like I said, I will revisit XSoldier mod soon-ish. The beards missing is indeed intended, for 2 reasons: 1. I still have to refit them all 2. They look like crap IMO, and I never used them so I was like... meh... why bother... When I get back to the mod I may add them again, but I also added 2 more "short" styles. One other reason is that before I refit the missing beards, I still need to re-do all the heads (not going to explain in detail, but the mod required me to scrap all vanilla heads, what you are seeing are mostly... incomplete/placeholders), and add a few more. Still unsure if I should add or not the Chris Redfield one. The character is Capcom's design and intellectual property, so I'm not sure if I would be infringing anything by using it. I've heard that Capcom is not too picky on that, but I've also read one disclaimer on their site, that could get me in some legal trouble... I mean I'm not sure, and I believe that even if I release it, the worst that can happen is that they contact me so I take it down. Also, have no idea if the last DLC added new soldier customization content or not, since I have yet to play it. Not a big fan of robot thingies and also had other distractions that drove me away from XCOM 2.

That is probably due to some update, because I havent updated the mod ever since I released, which was shortly after Alien Hunters, and I never had that issue. Once I'm done with the Titan Quest mod (which is something simple and minor) I plan on getting back on XCOM 2, so I'll check it then =)

    Not sure what you mean
  7. If anyone is planning on buying D: OS 2 today let me know, I'd like to check if I can mod it using the same tool I've been using for D: OS 1 =)

  8. thats bizarre o_O is your game language set to anything other than english? I can only guess its a localization issue. EDIT: I asked a friend who's playing it, and he confirmed the bug, I'll see whats up with that! o_O EDIT2: Its fixed
  9. Currently Modding Divinity: Original Sin and Titan Quest Anniversary Edition

  10. @julius8877 I'm not sure what you mean, but I have good news for you. I'm reworking on the mod again, and it wont be modular anymore, so the "extra" modules are not neccessary as you will be able to make changes in-game, which are ofc less static. It will also be MUCH easier to install, although less compatible with other mods in case you are using any. The only thing atm holding the new release are some technical issues that I need to have fixed in some community developed tool, and then I'll need to do a few more thousand clicks... (lol... don't ask...)

is the fMorphStrength in the INI set to 1.0?

    XSoldier

check if on your documents/my games/XCOM 2/config you have XComXSoldier.ini. If values are at zero, then something is wrong, you can try to fix it by copying the Default INI that comes with the mod and rename the file and put it on the same folder as the INI mods.

It was scrapped, but I may in the future do it again. At some point, due to some technicalities, I had to restart XSoldier from scratch =P

I'm not sure why you are apologizing, you did nothing wrong, and to be honest I dont think what I said, and the way I said it, was harsh or was I pointing fingers at anyone. I was just pointing out a fact. But, since we are having this conversation, I will also point this out... I don't want to know if you have a legal copy of a game or not, at least not publicly, its awkward for whoever does it, its an awkward position I'm being put in, as the site owner, and I don't know if it has legal implications or not. And that's why, on the raffle, that I'm asking people to tell me privately what game they want to be, to protect everyone's... "privacy".

there is no "no steam" version. even if you buy the game from another store, you need steam. those body parts on your screen are from Anarchy's Children DLC. You need an up to date XCOM 2 game in order for the mod to work. Anyway... Make sure the mod is being listed on the launcher and enabled The correct folder name should be "Mods" and not "Mod"

Changing height and or overall scale, is a script only thing, its actually very simple and easy, however, changing proportions (like making the head bigger/smaller), may require or not asset editing. Unsure if the original assets already have the head node setup in order to do that, I would have to check the AnimTree. But, like I said, I really have no interest in doing more generic/mainstream mods. But I'm willing to help any other modders if they ask me how.

Hi aardvark I'm sorry I didnt read any e-mail, but to be honest I haven't been checking any e-mails. So thats why I didn't replied. Yes, I also go by Hyperplexed, its me. Modesty aside, I am a fairly proeminent gay modder, which might explain why you don't know about me or my work and why you are having all these questions! I don't plan ever to make it for females, because: I'm gay, and I prefer to do gay-ish stuff! My intent is to cater to gay gamers and straight women by proxy, too much boobs, not enough dongs on games! There are SOOOOOOOO many boob modders, why would I even consider in doing it? I would be perfectly fine in developing female bodies (which ironically its what I work the most IRL, I have to look at boobs) if the ratio of modders that mod female and male were about the same, which is not, as you might well know and be aware of. When I did the post on Nexus, was exactly to try to harness interest to do a community project, because this kind of thing is a "there can be only one" type of mod. Lets say I do this mod... and then someone else does a similar mod with some other sliders... you cant have both! So my post was about "hey guys, we can do this, if we make an effort together...". I got 2 replies, one of which that didnt quite got what I meant, and showed very little understanding about how things work, even though I specifically said this kind of project would need to be a community collaborative project, and pointed out that this was not only depended on scripting... there are base assets that need to be edited, and thats what it makes this kind of mod to be "there can be only one" kind of mod. The other proposal was from the DragonPunk guy, which, for political reasons, is someone who I refuse to collaborate with, and I politely and privately explain him so. So, because I didn't got any meaningful feedback from modders, I just kept on working on my own thing, and thats what I plan to do. I will not be doing female stuff, thats a given. I am, however, still willing to work in a collaborative project for the community, in case someone wants to step up, and ask me for some "help" as a... uh... advisor/consultant? I will provide some insight on how this works, and what needs to be done to have things working. I won't however, be working in any actual content, aside from developing for my own mod. Its actually fairly simple, from my point of view, even though it took me many months to actually have it working fairly good... I switched between design several times, back and forth, and my biggest struggle was the scripting part, because my training is as a designer/artist, so the coding part was a real brickwall I had to break. Surprisingly... I don't understand why the modding scene in XCOM 2 is so... not leaning towards more soldier customization like this! PS-Again, I apologize if I didnt replied to your e-mail, but like I said, I don't check the e-mails for now, best way to contact me will always be through the forum, either publicly or through a PM. I will always answer to anyone and/or any question, as long as you present yourself in a cordial and polite way. There will be no tolerance for intolerance or trolls on my site, but aside that, anyone is welcome.

Well, I know that the same thing happened if you were missing the Alien Hunters DLC, and since a new DLC/Patch is out and I havent checked it yet that could very well be the reason. Also: Does the mod appears listed on the launcher? If it does, is it enabled?
