G12 Vanilla Skimpy Clothings Replacer and Standalone 2.2.0

About This File

Description

This mod adds or/and replaces almost all the clothings in Basegame.

Requirements

  1. Atomic Muscle 2.0+ by Ulfberto: Link

Installation

Install this mod by mod manager. During FOMOD installation, choose either replacer version or standalone version, or even both.

The esps in this mod are esl-flagged.

Contents

Replacer Version: Replaces almost all of the clothings in Fallout 4 basegame. These outfits are excluded: All the dresses, Captain Zao's Uniform, Hancock's Uniform, Bathrobe. Some outfits might have the same appearance, such as "Hazmat Suit" and "Damaged Hazmat Suit". I have added railroad weave and legendary supports as well as nick valentine wearable to all the outfits in this mod. Besides, I also reduced biped slots usage for all the outfits so they can be worn with other armor pieces.

Standalone Version: Adds the skimpy version of most clothings in basegame into Chem Station crafting lists. They have their names starting with "Skimpy" to differentiate from vanilla ones.

Standalone Version - Leveled List Injection: Optional in FOMOD installation. Requires my Leveled List Injection Core File. This file injects standalone version outfits into basegame leveled lists. Most of the clothings are injected into leveled lists of Raider, Rairoad, BoS, CoA, Minutemen, Institute, Gunner, Container, Settler, Resident, Wastelander and Vendor. The clothings are sorted for each faction so generally it should not break lore friendly immersion.

There are some other patches dedicated to more colorswaps, bundled in the FOMOD installation:

Spoiler
  1. Patches for Clothing Color Variety. Patch is needed for both versions of my mod. The AWCKR dependency is already removed from original mod, since I don't use AWCKR and I strongly recommend using Equipment and Crafting Overhaul - Redux and New Equipment OverhaulThis patch will add a lot of colorswaps to most clothings and headwears.
  2. Patches for Synth Overhaul (C.A.S.T.). Patch is needed for both versions of my mod. This patch will add a lot of coloswaps to Synth Uniform.
  3. Patch for Clothing Color Variety and Synth Overhaul. This tiny patch let these two mods work together. As a result, Synth Uniform will have access to colorswaps options from both mods. All the modifications are under "Paint" in Armor Workbench.

Get in Game

Only available if you install Standalone Version:

  1. Chem Station under "(Atomic Muscle) Vanilla Skimpy Clothings".
  2. Type in console "Help Vanilla 4 FLST". Then there will be some Form ID lists for you to quickly add all the outfits into your inventory.

Compatiblity

  1. Compatible with Equipment and Crafting Overhaul - Redux and New Equipment Overhaul. Make sure to put my Replacer esp after Dank_ArmorOverrides.esp if you are using it. For Standalone, the load order doesn't matter.
  2. Patches available for Synth Overhaul (C.A.S.T.) (a.k.a. SO) (Highly recommended!!!). Please read the instructions during FOMOD installation.
  3. Patches available for Clothing Color Variety (Highly Recommended!!!). Please read the instructions during FOMOD installation.
  4. Most clothings in this mod can benefit from vanilla texture improvement mods. Recommended: Fallout 4 HD Overhaul 2k or SavrenX HD Vanilla Clothes
  5. Not compatible with some replacer mods. But usually can be solved by putting other replacer mods' esp files beneath mine or create a patch file in FO4Edit.
  6. For Lunar Fallout Overhaul, AWKCR, AE, Horizon, etc, a patch file might also be needed.
  7. Not comptatible with Raider Overhaul. That mod alters a lot of biped slots of vanilla outfits, which can cause missing hands bug with my mod. But this might be solved by putting my mod beneath Raider Overhaul or create a patch file in FO4Edit.

Notes

  1. All the clothings with robes or capes or coats could have clippings with butt or legs when character not standing still.
  2. Let me know if you encounter any problem, since I didn't test thoroughly and there are so many stuff in this mod.

What's New in Version 2.2.0   See changelog

Released

New outfits:

  • Added new skimpy version for "Quinlan's Armor", before it was using the same one as "Science Sribe's Armor".
  • Added new skimpy version for "Bomber Jacket", before it was using the same one as "BoS Uniform".
  • Added new skimpy version for "Engineer's Armor", before it was using the same one as "Field Scribe's Armor".
  • Added new skimpy version for "Teagon's Armor", before it was using the same one as "Field Scribe's Armor".
  • Added back the helemt part to "Helmeted Cage Armor" and "Helmeted Spike Armor". The removal of helmet is a leftover from the initial release.
  • Added back the backpack part to "Traveling Leather Coat". The removal of backpack is a leftover from the initial release.

Fixes:

  • Fixed the material file path for "Maxson's Battlecoat". Now it uses vanilla material, therefore benefiting from any vanilla texture enhancement mod.
  • Fixed the material file path for "Mechanic Jumpsuit" and "Red Rocket Jumpsuit". Now they use vanilla material, therefore benefiting from any vanilla texture enhancement mod. Besides, these jumpsuits will also have access to the colorswaps in "Clothing Color Variety".
  • Fixed clippings of "Maxson's Battlecoat".
  • Removed some unuseful leveled lists injection from "Leveled List Injection" for standalone version. This change will only take effect on a new game or a current save where this mod has never been installed.
  • Fixed 1st person wrong mesh path of "Field Scribe's Armor" and "Brotherhood Fatigues".
  • Fixed missing left arm of "Traveling Leather Coat" and "Leather Coat" if you are using together with "Clothing Color Variety".

Tweaks:

  • Renamed three variants of "Brotherhood Fatigues" into "Brotherhood Soldier Fatigues", "Brotherhood Medic Fatigues" and "Brotherhood Lancer Fatigues".
  • Added "Two Sided" flag to the material file of "Field Scribe's Armor", "Leather Coat" and "Traveling Leather Coat". Therefore when being viewed from inner side, certain parts of these outfits will not disappear.

I think the problem is that True Wasteland Muscle Outfits for Atomic Muscle was removed and replaced during the game.

Though it should be okayish to remove TWM replacer version from mid-playthrough. But anyway if it is fixed, then it is fine.

如果问题仍然存在,请不要犹豫告诉我。

I asked many of my friends to help test ,this outfits Hooded rags, there are bugs, I am sure about that.

When  NPC equip , the NPC can only see the hands, feet and head, when PC equip, the PC is naked.

I uploaded a new version of both replacer and standalone, as well as patch file updated. Try them and tell me if it is working. Looks like I forgot to include a mesh file but invisible body shouldn't be caused by this.

plz check out the jumpsuit, both arms have  square shaped skin missing

and the hooded rags thing happened to me today when I visited Evan in nuka-world. He is invisible, and I checked fo4edit, just a sorting mod edited the hooded rag outfit, nothing else. I checked in outfit studio, it seems fine, but ingame it just doesn't work, i even started a new game to test, I disabled all the other mods just keep AM and this mod active and started a new playthrough , I spawned Evan and added the outfit, the bug is still there, so I think it might not be one of the mod in my modlist causing this to happen.

edit: I sovled the hooded rag problem, you typed an extra "s" in the model section of two plugins😭, your file is "TWM_Hoodedrag.nif", but the two plugins are "TWM_Hoodedrags.nif" ,just edited them in fo4edit, and problem sovled! but the jumpsuit still has some visual problem in the hand area, I tried many ways to fix it, but no progress yet.

Thanks for report. I will fix these bugs today. 😉

The skin missing should be caused by zap sliders in outfit studio. You can check that to fix yourself in advance.

The replacer version doesn't seem to be working for me? The NPCs still have vanilla clothes. I'm unsure as to why.

Probably due to mod conflicts. If you put this mod at the bottom of your load order, it should work. And some patch esp files might also needed.

It works now. I'm not sure why it wasn't before. However, I'm currently using the (AM) Savren X Vault Suit Replacer V2 and this mod overwrites it. Doesn't seem to matter that the original Savren mod and the replacer for it is below yours. I tried taking out the vault suit from your mod but now it just makes it invisible. Is there a way you could make the replacer mod without the vault suit?

To solve this is actually quite simple. You need fo4edit to create a patch file, so in this way you can also apply to other single replacer mod. If you are fine with using FO4Edit, i can write to you about how to do it. If no, i can put a patch esp file here.

Maybe I will also write a guide on how to do this.

I apologize, I don't think I have FO4edit.

Maybe u can try to put SavrenX.esp under this mod replacer version and all the patches for this mod if you are using. It should fix the problem.

Question! Is there a way to make the outfits more customizable? Like being able to remove the thong on the armor workbench?

It is not possible to achieve that through workbench afaik. Because it might cause glitch that if you switch back from no-thong version to with-thong version, the genital could still stay, clipping through the thong. (I will check if there is a fix for this)

I like this idea though. I might release a seperate version with no thongs.

I personally wouldn't mind the clipping. I like seeing the dick and balls. lol Maybe there could be like a crotchless thong option? I don't know if that's possible, even though I have a crotchless jockstrap which are hot. Can you make this more compatible with Atomic Muscle? By that, I mean the bulge. I'm glad you liked the idea!

I think I prefer to release a seperate version without thongs and pants, but not recently. BTW currently, you could use outfit studio to remove thongs from the outfits you want.

The textures in the Textures folder all have extra textures (2). This should be extra, right? Can it be repackaged?

Happens every time when loading games. After loading, it will be normal after 5+  seconds, Plz take a look, I dont know if it just me or not.

Edit: Have googled online, it's related to bone weights or something, tried fixing it myself and succeeded. The problem is now gone.

Standalone version of this outfit uses hand slot 34&35, but standalone version doesnt have gloves, it will make the hands disappear, although unequip and equip the outfit will make the hands appear, it's still a little annoying.

I think there is an issue with Vault Suit, crotch area looks strange and there is a bit of clipping.

Also Silver Shroud costume has gaps between outfit and gloves.

Thank you so much for all your work.

Would it be possible to fix some of the gloves for outfits you've skimpified? Like the Silver Shroud gloves have a large seam between them and the wrist. I have a mod that lets me wear them without the outfit and I just realized there was a seam. Even with the full Silver Shroud outfit there's a seam. The sliders are working fine but I'm guessing the original outfit connected sleeves to the gloves so it wouldn't have this problem. I imagine you could just add the hand mesh back in for some of the gloves and it would be fine.

Could you list all the gloves you find with problems? Silver shroud gloves I will fix soon today. During my test, I didn't remember I have found problems with gloves and arms.

Edit: I have fixed gloves of Silver Shroud. But I still notice a hand seam (wrist and arm) and I have reported it to Ulfberto. Anyhow, I will do an update for this first. Then for other gloves, I might fix them in next update.
