Introduction:

Due to the loss of my mods over at Nexus (moment of silence) I wanted a new home for this so here it is

This is the High Poly of my original mod CVO

Since I already have detailed info for original I will instead have basic info here

CVO%203.jpg?psid=1

Suggested SKSE ini setting
[Display]
iTintTextureResolution = 1024

Replaces Goblins in Skyrim with HD Vampires. CVO HD is an appearance overhaul for vampire NPC and player

NPC:

Higher quality heads, hairs and tints from original

CSHmkv4A_o.jpg

Player:

Same as original sans 1* while keeping you set in the new head when vampire without disabling overlays so you get appearance changes normally such as vampire eyes

Using this the Fix esp from HPH itself or similar mod(s) that edit your race to disable overlays are not needed to keep your head from reverting back and instead would be optional choice for users that do not want ANY appearance change from overlays when vampire to include eyes

*Unlike original this does not include the files for no sunken face for player for the simple reason Kouleifoh already did that for you. Wasn't that nice of them. HPH installer has option for both vanilla and aesthetic elves. EFM has it by default. Choosing any of those 3 gets you same change as original

Versions:

Images show some from both Classic and Expressive. Same as original at any time you can safely switch between them to find your fav or just to mix it up a bit ( what i do )

Issues:

If you run into problems such as broken faces for NPC using this alongside your other mods then refer back to the general info for compatibility and troubleshooting on original page to ensure you have PCR with them as ~99% of issues can be resolved following that

Requires High Poly Head and DLC Dawnguard

This was made using version 1.4 of HPH. It is likely that this will still work without issue if newer version is out so try it first. If in the odd chance there was a change that requires this to also update let me know

i1kJqSln_o.jpg

Permission:

You may not upload this to other sites, if I want it there ill put it there myself

You may host a patched esp to get CVO HD compatible with mods that alter vampires non-appearance stats such as AI/Combat/lvls/outfits/class etc

Credits:

Better Vampire Fangs and Eyes by Aipex8
For mouth TRI files

Fair Skin Complexion by HHaleyy
For the original eye texture used to make the new Red and Blue eyes for B and C all versions and the mouth texture for Expressive

Eyes AO Clipping Fix by Artsick
Fix is included for eyes

Modders Resource:

Expressive Facegen Morphs by Niroku

High Poly Vanilla Hair by Macxhiin

Update finally. As a SAM user and lover I also refreshed the sceenies for you guys. No point in having a gorgeous male body if its hidden under mounds of cloth. Speaking of clothes new images shown using Kreis' Skimpy Outfits - DLC01 Redux by Kreiste that is here. As always this will use whatever you have in your game and is faces only so you can smother them all with mounds if you want. Enjoy :)

Small info in case you're interested.

For those using 'High Poly NPC Overhaul' this mod has to be above it (so the male faces arn't getting problems) and the 'Vampire Head Fix' from HPH below that.

Installation order:

  1. Cosmetic Vampire Overhaul HD SE
  2. High Poly NPC Overhaul - Resources
  3. High Poly NPC Overhaul - Skyrim Special Edition (All Vanilla NPCs)
  4. High Poly NPC Overhaul - Patches
  5. (Reinstall) HPH (to get the 'High Poly Head Vampire Fix.esp' below the overhaul)
  6. ...
  7. Mods modifying vampiric NPC (like 'Serana by LamaKreis')

No. Due to the way that mod is made this is incompatible and should not be used alongside it. Even if it was compatible you would never load this before or any other so called "base mods" as by their nature will have alternate facegen for all NPC in game. Loading this before any of those makes less then zero sense as ALL changes I make to NPC will be overwritten by them. In most cases those mods simply mass export new facegen to give them modded headparts and possibly tints without changing them individually in the record. Allowing any of those mods to load after this and you end up with HD goblins. FYI there is nothing "base" about any mod that dumps all NPC facegen as loose files in your game. If that mod was made correctly you would be able to load this after it but since it was not it will remain incompatible. It is your game. Look at vampire from that mod. Look at them from mine. Make a choice

Only NPC makeover mods that have full edits to faces for unique NPC should load after this so mods like Northbourne, Bijin, Pandorable, Pride/Courageous, Males of Skyrim, my own NL4 etc

Sorry, but i disagree.

Putting your mod below the 'High Poly NPC Overhaul': Female NPC work, male NPC got the look but a brown face, PC didn't.

Putting your mod above the 'High Poly NPC Overhaul': Female NPC work, male NPC work, PC didn't.

Putting your mod above the 'High Poly NPC Overhaul' and adding the fix from HPH: Female NPC work, male NPC work, PC works now too.

I wouldn't post anything like this if we didn't spent days testing it before (like being in every location where vampires show up). And no 'HD Goblins' or shrunken faces to be found anymore. Maybe they now look a bit different, i don't have enough pics to make a comparison, but the obvious 'look i'm a vampire' is finally gone.

Thank you so much for keeping your wonderful mods available to us! I'm so sorry about trouble Nexus caused you, and so many other extremely talented modders.

Just leaving a note for people aiming to keep their character face presets while playing as a vamp. Was a complete head-scratcher for me so maybe this can help you out:

  • When installing High Poly Head SE, ensure that the Vampire Fix option is included.
  • My load order has "High Poly Head Vampire Fix.esp" loaded first then "CosmeticVampireOverhaulHD.esp" right after.

  • Mods that overhaul vampire gameplay like Sacrosanct, Better Vampires and the like should be loaded well before the two .esps mentioned above.

  • Drag the 2 aforementioned .esps to the bottom of your load order if all else fails.

I am gonna necro this - as information, not as a reply.

Is this load order and mod combination checked in xedit? Walking around in Skyrim and look at the NPCs is NOT checking how and if mods work together. If you haven't checked them in xedit, and haven't ensured that vital components aren't getting overwritten, then pls refrain from recommending something like this. Stuff like this is a nightmare for us mod authors, because people do it, and then come back to us complain.

When a mod author tells you their mod doesn't work together with this mod, out of the box, just by load order, then believe them. If you want to use mods together, check them in xedit and screen them, if they need patching. As someone who mods since a decade, and is a mod author, I can ensure you, 99% of mods need patching. That's the nature of modifications.

A set of clothing replacer, covering all armors/clothing included in DLC01 Dawnguard.
They will use whatever texture packs you have installed as they don't come with any at all.
However, it is recommended that you use FrankFamily's Dawnguard texture pack since I based my Dawnguard armor using his textures (that is miles better than Vanilla look). You don't need his Meshes/ESP, just the texture folder is fine (Unless you want to use his weapon meshes too, they look much better too than vanilla.)
      Consisting of :
Ancient Falmer Armor Dawnguard Heavy and Light (#1-5) Falmer Hardened Armor/Falmer Heavy Armor Falmer Armor + Boots  Moth Priest Robes Bloodstained version of Prisoner's clothing Vampire Armor Vampire Robes (Bloodstained Clothes if using WACCF) Vampire Royal Armor (Vampire Lord Armor) Bless @InoOnew88 for his help and providing the killer ass screenshots with his boys.
      Installation :
Install normally with your preferred mod manager. I personally use MO2. BodySlide files included if you want to mess around with them.
      Permission :
If anyone wanted to convert, derive, modify; all I ask is that you share it with other people here also for everyone's benefit 😃
      Credits :
Falmer Light and Heavy Armor were made off pieces from Bad Dog's version of nisetanaka's bikini armors. I did get BD's permission but couldn't get in contact with nisetanaka. Should they reach out to me and want their derived armors removed, do send me a PM.
      Conversion to LE :

      Footnotes :
Buy me a coffee, if you feeling generous. ko-fi.com/kreiste or paypal.me/ChristopherKho
I hope you enjoy my armors!
If you notice bugs, errors, glitches, or any other shenanigans caused by armors, shoot me a PM so I can fix em.
