SAM Patch for Yiffy Age of Skyrim 2.1.0

   (3 reviews)

About This File

 spacer.png

This is a patch created for Yiffy Age of Skyrim so that it is compatible with SAM Light. Yiffy Age (YA) simply turns all human and mer races into furries with beast feet and beast schlongs. Each Skyrim race becomes its own unique animal species, but only the appearance of the races change (i.e., vanilla buffs remain the same).

Assets included in the Main File:

- Meshes

  • All refitted meshes for male (human) dicks and sheaths/slits. Schlong of SAM HDT Patch (No need to download it separately!)
Spoiler

spacer.png

Sheaths and slits from YA SOS are now fitted for the SAM Light body.

SPOILER_The_Elder_Scrolls_V_Skyrim_Speci

  • Beast hand & foot meshes that scale with SAM body morphs.
  • Animated tails that no longer gap at weight 0 and scale with the SAM body. Both male and female tails are now weight slidable!
  • SAM Bodyslide files for those tails, in case you want to adjust the morphs, make them bigger, or move them around.
  • Schlong of SAM "VP Regular" and "Muscular" meshes now correctly point at YA's Anthro textures.
  • XML file from HDT-BBB (HDTSkinnedMeshConfigs\SAMBody.xml). Version included is "Default Bounce with collisions enabled".
  • Updated SchlongsofSkyrim.dll
  • Fixed briarhearts for SAM. Now includes meshes from Jamesalexian. A nude version is included.

- Textures

  • Foxes: Textures are from  Yiffy Age: Better Bretons, but the YA foxes do not have the eyebrows, face tints, or many other extras that mod adds. Thus, the full version is recommended. Load it along with BB SAM Textures after the SAM Patch for YA if you plan to use it.
Spoiler

spacer.png

Foxes from the YA Better Bretons overhaul on LoversLab.

  • Panther: New panther texture
  • Khajiit: Modified poblivion's Better Khajiit
  • Kygarra: Modified MONSTERaider's Leopard Khajiit
  • Fixed Reachman head texture. No more backwards ear!
  • Fixed seams on a number of textures, but more yet to do.
  • Normals: All furry races use the same normals and speculars made for YA Better Bretons in the interest of making this as seamless as possible. Let us know if you'd like a patch that sets all races back to their original YA normals for all the hairy variety back (you probably don't care as much as we do about seams).

SAM Digi

Contains both male and female meshes as well as the boot hider. Replaces YA Digi patch - use SAM Digi instead.

Spoiler

The_Elder_Scrolls_V_Skyrim_Special_Editi

SAM HDT Tails

Contains both male and female HDT tails as well as a brand new set of HDT Argonian tails.  Let us know how you like them!  Also contains SAM bodyslides for adjustment.  Female tails no longer jitter against BHUNP and shouldn't react too badly to SAM body in scenes. Replaces the YA HDT patch.

Spoiler

SPOILER_The_Elder_Scrolls_V_Skyrim_Speci

Note that the HDT tails move out of the way more effectively in some sex positions than in others.

SUGGESTED LOAD ORDER

An example load order for Mod Organizer 2 is shown below:

spacer.png

       0. USSEP, SKSE, Racemenu, etc. All of YA's requirements.

  1. SAM High Poly (Mostly for the high-poly clothing refits)
  2. SAM Racemenu Morphs
  3. Schlong of SAM
  4. Yiffy Age Consolidated
  5. 04 YA SOS SE
  6. YA SAM Patch 2.1
  7. YA SAM Digi/HDT Tails (optional downloads)
  8. Mods like Flawn's Argonians or Vale's "Masculine" textures
  9. YA patches that are not specifically for Better Bretons
  10. YA Better Bretons and BB SAM Textures (optional, but highly recommended)
  11. Patches for YA Better Bretons (USSEP is only required if you use YA Better Bretons). BHUNP, Matchmaker, and UIExtensions/AddItemMenu are optional, but highly recommended.

spacer.png

All HDT Tails, except Argonians, will get reset by RaceMenu and might not behave properly until the game is saved and reloaded. We are working on a version without this problem. Female tails will continue to gap at lower weights until I have time to adjust them. Argonian tails are a bit high strung and jittery, but if you know how to improve them we'd love to hear about it!

spacer.png

Since the esp overwrites the ArmorAddon for the tails it won't be compatible with other mods that change them - things like "Weight Slider Adjusted Argonian Tails" are now useless. Mods that overwrite these entries (e.g., Flawn's Argonians) might need a patch.

spacer.png

Vector for SAM

KouLeifoh for SAM Light and HDT BBB Bounce

Don for Schlong of SAM Light (specifically the rigged body mesh)

Jamesalexian for meshes in Briarheart SAM Conversion

Valehyena for Yiffy Age Extensions SE (texture edits and getting the ball rolling)

Bad Dog for Yiffy Age of Skyrim and Lykaios Reborn

KrittaKitty for the creation of the Lykaios race and other textures

Poblivion for Better Khajiit Male Texture and advice

MONSTERaider, Render, and Ulfberto for Masculine Khajiit Textures (for SAM Lite)

mrLenski for textures in CoverKhajiits

MrNoobMan and jacques00 for Wearable SMP tails ( used bone weighting and xml files for the Argonian HDT tails)

Blaze, ASlySPyDuo, and others on YA Discord for advice

Thanks for trying out SAM Patch for Yiffy Age of Skyrim. Have fun!

Thanks for the praise! Most of that definitely goes to Pruient as she was the one that figured out most of the compatibility issues between SAM and YA. We'll all be working on texture improvements, conversion to LE, and additional race overhauls (like the one for Bretons): expect an awesome Redguard (hyena overhaul) by Valehyena at some point.

Absolutely fantastic work <3, the only issue my end is that on Argonians the feet mesh doesn't grow with the SAM Samuel and Samson, so i end up with seams/non fitting feet

Are you using Flawn's Vanllia Argonians Redux? The fomod for it comes with an option for the YA Argonian feet (textures AND meshes). Since we recommend placing Flawn's Argonians after the YA Patch for SAM, the feet meshes we fitted to SAM would be overwritten by Flawn's mod. To fix this issue, you can delete/rename the male feet meshes from Flawn's mod OR, if using MO2, you could hide the meshes.

Thanks but I use Raptor's feet for my Argonians. It's just the beastly schlongs I need to make my vision complete.  I want all the possible schlong variety ^_^

Thank you for adapting YA for SAM!! I'm excited to give it a try, but am having a hard time getting it to work. It's been a while since I've started fresh modding my SE, so I'm sure I'm forgetting to do something incredibly obvious. If anyone has a moment, I'd greatly appreciate a hand (or in this case, paw?) ^^;; I'll put the issues I'm having in the spoiler below so it doesn't take up too much space here. Thank you so so much in advance!!

Spoiler

I've run into three major issues so far:

  1. At the title screen, the two guys standing next to the logo have very visible texture seams (it almost looks like two different art styles) on their upper thighs and wrists. Additionally, they have large dark circles on their crotches.
  2. In game, the shadows on the inner ears don't match (one inner ear is dark while the other is light)
  3. In game, I am unable to change or remove clothing without the game immediately crashing

I couldn't figure out how to add things like SKSE to the virtual files setup that MO2 uses. So, for example, my Skyrim SE directory looks unmodded aside from SKSE and FNIS, and then I have the separate Mods folder from MO2 with all the mod files. All of my Steam, Skyrim, and modding files are on my D drive, not in my Program Files folder. I have tried only including a few of the associated mods at a time to see if any individual pieces were broken, but always with the same result. I couldn't remember what the policy for uploading images in replies here was, so I'll type my mod list for now in the order in which I have them listed on the left-hand side of Mod Organizer 2 below:

  • DLC: HearthFires
  • DLC: Dragonborn
  • DLC: Dawnguard
  • Unofficial Skyrim Special Edition Patch
  • Fores New Idles in Skyrim SE
  • FNIS Creature
  • FNIS Spells
  • RaceMenu
  • HDT-SMP
  • Alternate Start
  • XP32 Maximum Skeleton (which I am starting to wonder if this is the problem)
  • UNP Female Body Meshes Only (haven't tested this in-game yet)
  • SkyUI
  • SkyUI Flashing Savegames Fix
  • RaceCompatability
  • RaceCompatability Untranslated plugins
  • PapyrusUtil
  • SAM Light (uncut human schlong, which I'd prefer to be the default for my character and all NPCs, but that's something to figure out later)
  • SAM High Poly (ensuring SE was checked for this and other related mods)
  • SAM Morphs for RaceMenu
  • HDT-BBB for SAM
  • SavrenX Schlong of SAM Light (I tried using the original files and replacing them with the "HDT patch" male body files, with no change in being able to undress my character without a crash)
  • 01 Yiffy Age SE
  • 02 YA Digi SE
  • 04 YA SOS SE
  • YA SAM Patch 2.1.7
  • YA SAM Digi
  • YA SAM HDT Tails
  • SAM Yiffy Age Masculine Textures
  • Better Bretons 1.1 (my goal is to play a fox Breton)
  • Better Bretons SAM Patch
  • Better Bretons UNP Female Tail Bodyslide
  • Better Bretons Alternate Start patch
  • SAM Better Bretons Adjusted Tails

Oh; well that's the problem then. There are no raptor feet meshes in our mod since those do not come with YA. I think Pruient may have fitted the raptor feet for SAM at some point. I'll have to ask her and see.

First, the loading screens nifs were made using the SOS body, but they load the SAM textures with our mod installed so that's why you get the seams. We don't plan on fixing that since it's just the load screen. I personally use the spinning logo for my game for instance.

Second, you need to get SKSE working properly with MO2. There's plenty of documentation on how to do that, but I'd suggest watching this tutorial video by the ever helpful GamerPoets (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lKmSSpod69w). He also has many other excellent tutorials to use as a resource. Give him a follow over on YouTube.

If you fix that you may fix your other problems. Also, you could just take screenshots of your mod list (left pane of MO) AND your plugin load order (right pane).

Thank you so much for getting back to me! :)

For the loading screens: gotcha!

I went back and did a wipe and clean install of everything as per GamerPoets' tutorials on MO2, SKSE64, SSEEdit, and FNIS (thank you for sending him my way!). However, I am still experiencing the problem of the game crashing the instant I try unequipping my chest slot. Additionally, when Digi feet are enabled, I find my character floats a few in-game inches off the ground. Aside from perhaps plugin order, I have no idea where I went wrong. :( Below should be a screenshot with both my mod list and plugin load order. Thank you!

EDIT: It turns out I had the older version of Schlongs of SAM and needed the "Continuation" mod by Kija ^^;;;

No problem :3 Also, are you still getting that weird ear issue or the CTD from changing/removing clothes? Also, YA should stay towards the bottom of your (plugin) load order so bring down YA consolidated so that it's below BD Schlong Core (look at the mock MO2 profile shown on this page for load order guidance). Also move Alternate Start above YA consolidated. The Digi boots plugin should come before the Better Bretons mod.

Thankfully, fixing up that order seemed to fix most of the issues! My dumb ass was sorting them on the left and not double checking the right ^^;;;

I really appreciate all your help and guidance! :3

hello! i just installed everything as instructed, but i'm running into a bit of a problem!

i'm not entirely sure if this is something i'm doing wrong on my end or not, but the "schlong of sam" installer switched the names of their sos addons from the original 'vectorplexus regular' and 'vectorplexus muscular' -- to 'cut' and 'uncut', respectively.

thus, the YA sam patch .esp now alerts me saying that the sos addons (vectorplexus muscular and vectorplexus regular) aren't found. i ran the game anyway to test if there were any problems, and lo and behold, i found that the genital textures aren't working properly!

i'll try a fresh reinstall of everything, but i figured i'd let you know just in case!

I am so sorry I missed your comment! Did you ever get the texture problem solved? I assume you tried the SAM Patch for YA on an old save. Two suggestions:

1) Try loading it on a new save or

2) rename the schlongsofskyrim.dll to schlongsofskyrim.dll- and then load the save. The game will complain, but just go ahead and save (you can create a new save if you'd like) then exit. Finally change the dll back to its original name, open the save, and let the schlongs re register.

If you're still having problems let me see your mod list and plugin load orders.

Would it be possible to patch the 'spiky' schlong in bad dog's hoodies? I've been using that on Argonians and getting mesh gaps with SAM Light. It's technically not in YA but I always preferred that one over the regular slit for Argonians - https://www.loverslab.com/topic/104654-bad-dog-hoodies-sse/. Might be useful also for people not running YA but want the bad dog hoodie schlongs on Argonian / Khajiit only ~

Sorry I missed this. That's something we can look into doing. Also, if you or anyone else want the hoodies only on Argonians and Khajiits then y'all can do that yourselves via the MCM for SOS. You can toggle which races get what dick.

Hey, thanks. I didn't know why the spiky schlong wasn't included with YA (I guess since Argonians weren't modified) but it's a really nice unique schlong for Argonians instead of the current slit one. Only thing is the mesh gap on the top side with SAM light bodies.

Gracious! Another question I missed. Yes, you do need the original YA for this to work. I hope you've already figured that out by now and wasn't just stuck owing to the tardiness of my reply.

Do you think it would be possible to add the HDT tail patch to the khajiit and argonians in the regular game (with SAM light)?

So I installed SAM light on my LE game and then SAM Morphs for RaceMenu. But I had some problems with it after trying to Install it.
First one is when I play with SAM sliders a little, my body becomes invisible and it doesn't get fixed until I reload save game(or cell load, I don't know cuz game crashes instantly when trying change or reload cell after body being invisible).
second one is texture sets doesn't seem to working on my LE game, even though I'm sure I'm picking classic skyrim option in fomod.
I would be very appreciated if someone could help me. I also don't use bodygen.
